The Great Hills neighborhood is located in Northwest Austin at the corner of Loop 360 and Highway 183. It is known for the beautiful Texas Hill Country views, a spectacular golf course community and the outdoor shopping at the Arboretum. The building development in Great Hills started in 1979 and ended in 2006. The average home is between 1500 and 5200 square feet. The Arboretum Shopping Center is home to the Austin landmark of marble cow sculptures. Also, the shopping center has a soothing fountain and picnic area in a park setting.
